  10.  In addition to the data presented here, the printed report
  11. contains maps, figures, and technical notes. Single copies of

  440.  ** Eighteen adults/adolescents and 2 children developed AIDS
  441. after receiving blood screened negative for HIV antibody.  One
  442. additional adult developed AIDS after receiving tissue from an
  443. HIV-infected donor who screened negative for HIV antibody.
  444. *** "Other" refers to 4 persons who developed AIDS after
  445. exposure to HIV-infected blood within the health care setting,
  446. as documented by evidence of seroconversion or other laboratory
  447. studies.  "Undetermined" refers to patients whose mode of
  448. exposure to HIV is unknown.  This include patients under
  449. investigation; patients who died, were lost to follow-up, or
  450. refused interview; and patients whose mode of exposure to HIV
  451. remains undetermined after investigation. See Figure 4.
